The craft was passed down by doing.

Giuseppe grew up following his father onto construction sites in Italy, learning how land becomes shelter and how careful work earns a family’s trust.

Today, that three-generation standard guides every Manno project in New York: clear commitments, skilled hands and respect for the people who will live with the result.

A worn entrance restored with repaired masonry, crisp black coatings and careful finish work across the stoop and lower facade.

Restaurant facade and signage build-out

The storefront carried the restaurant's opening banner while work began, then the facade was stripped back and rebuilt, finishing with dimensional lettering and a lit awning over the entrance.

Are you licensed and insured to work in New York City?

Yes. Manno General Construction is fully licensed through the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection and carries comprehensive liability and workers' compensation insurance on every job.

What services do you specialize in?

Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. We come out, walk the project with you, and provide a detailed, itemized estimate so you know exactly what's included before any work begins.

What areas do you serve?

We're based at 427 Kings Highway in Brooklyn and primarily serve Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Manhattan.

How does your payment schedule work?

Milestone-based and transparent. Typically an initial deposit followed by progress payments tied to the completion of clearly defined phases. No surprises.

Will you pull the NYC Department of Buildings permits for my project?

When permits are required, we handle the entire filing and inspection process with the NYC DOB so the work is fully code-compliant.

Do you have experience with historic Brooklyn brownstones?

Yes. Three generations of training in traditional masonry, brick pointing and plaster work let us restore historic brownstones without losing the character that makes them special.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes. We stand behind both our craftsmanship and the materials we install, and we'll come back to make it right if something isn't.

How long will my project take?

It depends on scope, permits and material lead times. You'll get a clear schedule from day one and regular updates from Giuseppe directly as work progresses.
